The UNIX Power Package

We've been using FreeBSD for many many years and find it to be a superb web services platform. FreeBSD is the choice of CDrom.com, and Yahoo! Even Microsoft uses FreeBSD for its HotMail servers!

The web server software is Apache, which is used on approximately 70% of web servers throughout the world. Apache has a proven reputation for reliability and security.

Your UPP account includes full shell access via SSH (secure shell) and ftp. Scripting via standard shell, Perl, PHP, C, and C++ are all supported. And full cron access is supported to automate scripted updates to your site's data.

Our Windows Advanced Server Package (WASP) features web site hosting on Microsoft ® Windows 2003 Server and the Internet Information Services (IIS) 6 web server.
