HI-C CHIHUAHUAS prides itself on the quality of puppies that we offer to you for sale. We breed chihuahuas to the standard with only quality in mind. We screen our breeding stock for health defects before breeding in order to produce only the best from the top lines in the country. While structure is held foremost in mind, we also pride ourselves on our puppies outgoing personalities. We work very hard to provide only the best while keeping our prices affordable. DELTA AIRLINES HAS NOW PUT A SYSTEM IN PLACE SIMILIAR TO CONTINENTAL THAT  KEEPS ALL LIVE ANIMALS "CLIMATE CONTROLLED".  OUTSIDE TEMPERATURES WILL NO LONGER PREVENT THE SHIPMENT OF OUR PUPPIES.

 
                SHIPPING AND CHARGES
 Should you purchase a puppy and need to have it shipped, you are responsible for the air fare, health certificate and crate for your puppy.  Because of the constant price changes for fuel and the rise in prices for everything else, it is much easier to just charge a flat rate of $300 to ship your puppy or dog. This is for shipping in the continental US only. For Canada or other International flights we will have to contact the airlines and get a quote.

             BEFORE YOU RESERVE ONE OF OUR BABIES
     Before you reserve one of our beautiful chihuahuas, please make sure you understand that when you name your puppy, HI-C will be at the front of their name. This is not debateable. When you breed and name your own puppies, you should expect to have your kennel name up front also. This is a courtesy everyone should extend to the breeder so that when you see the dogs name in print, anyone will immediately know from where it came. If you decide to drop our kennel name, do not expect to purchase another dog from us.
            HOW DO I RESERVE A CHIHUAHUA PUPPY?

     WE ASK THAT A CONFIRMATION WITH A DEFINITE "YES" WITH A NAME, ADDRESS, AND PHONE NUMBER BE E-MAILED TO US. IF THE PUPPY WILL REQUIRE SHIPPING, ALSO INCLUDE THE NAME OF THE AIRPORT WHERE YOU WILL PICK IT UP. WE WILL THEN PUT SALE PENDING UNDER THAT PICTURE. THIS WILL HOLD YOUR CHOICE FOR ONE WEEK (7 DAYS ONLY) FROM THE DATE OF YOUR CONFIRMATION. IT IS THE BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY TO GET A DEPOSIT OF AT LEAST $200 TO US IN THAT TIME. PLEASE NOTE THAT DEPOSITS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE SHOULD YOU BACK OUT OF THE SALE.  WE CONSIDER A CONFIRMATION THE SAME AS A CONTRACT. 
     THE BALANCE IS DUE BY THE TIME THE PUPPY IS 12 WEEKS OLD SO SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS CAN BE MADE. IF THE PUPPY OF CHOICE IS ALREADY 12 WEEKS OR OLDER, THE TOTAL PRICE SHOULD BE SENT UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE AHEAD OF TIME.


     IF YOU HAVE TO SEND THE DOG OR PUPPY BACK: PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR EXPENSES TO RETURN A PURCHASE. AFTER RECEIVING YOUR DOG OR PUPPY, SHOULD IT BE NECESSARY TO RETURN IT, THE COST OF SHIPPING (AIRFARE, HEALTH CERTIFICATE, OR CRATE) WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER. WE ALSO ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR VET BILLS WHILE THE ANIMAL IS IN THE POSSESSION OF THE PURCHASER.

 
           PUPPY PRICES
OUR PRICES START AT $800 FOR MALES AND $1000 FOR FEMALES AS PETS ONLY AND PROGRESS UPWARDS DEPENDING ON THE QUALITY AND TEMPERAMENT. QUALITY PUPPIES ARE NOT CHEAP. SHOW PROSPECTS ARE PRICED INDIVIDUALLY DEPENDING ON SIZE AND QUALITY. "SHOW PROSPECT" DOES NOT MEAN SHOW QUALITY. THINGS CAN CHANGE AS A DOG GROWS AND MATURES. USUALLY IT IS FOR THE BETTER BUT NOT ALWAYS. 

THERE ARE OCCASIONALLY PUPPIES OFFERED AT A MUCH REDUCED PRICE BECAUSE OF SOME IMPERFECTION THAT WOULD KEEP THE ANIMAL FROM BEING FIT FOR SHOWING OR BREEDING. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO PLACE THESE PUPPIES AT OUR DISCRETION.
